Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2010, Spain's main indicators increased by 35.3% compared to 2009, reaching 5.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 5.5%.

Spain ranks 10th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 296.1% (from 1.3% in 2005).
