Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2014, Spain's main indicators increased by 7.8% compared to 2013, reaching 1.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.6%.

Spain ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 72.4% (from 3.7% in 2009).
