Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2012, Sweden's main indicators increased by 3.7% compared to 2011, reaching 49.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.0%.

Sweden ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.3% (from 43.2% in 2007).
