In 2019, Sweden's housing cost overburden rate by poverty status increased by 13.3% compared to 2018, reaching 9.4%.
The figure is in line with the EU-27 average of 9.4%.
Sweden ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.3% (from 8.6% in 2014).
