University of the 21st century – A high-quality, modern and open institution
The U21 project comprises three major development guidelines so that UJEP is the 1st university providing QUALITY and producing quality graduates (development of selected polytechnical, health and pedagogical study programmes, universally supporting the international environment and the relevance of study in relation to the needs of the labour market); 2. an open university, accessible to students with specific needs; and 3. Modern institutions with set-up systems for quality assessment and strategic management.

Thematic Objective 10 backs education, skills and lifelong learning — early-school-leaving reduction, vocational training, adult-skills retraining, higher-education quality and access.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €4.2M toward a total project cost of €5.0M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
Kohesio is the European Commission's open-data platform for projects co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus, the Cohesion Fund and the Just Transition Fund.
