The general objective of the project is to increase the geographical coverage and property of the integrated national system of cadastre and land books in the target rural areas of Romania and to complete the implementation of a national cadastral system in Romania, allowing mapping and digitisation of property and land ownership in a national central cadastral database. Thematic Objective 11 supports more efficient public administration — capacity building of public bodies, anti-corruption measures, judicial-reform support, e-administration.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €244.7M toward a total project cost of €287.9M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
