Integrated program to stimulate entrepreneurship in the urban environment of West Region
The general objective of the project is to implement an integrated program of information, training, counselling, assistance and other support services for the promotion and development of the entrepreneurial and managerial culture of future entrepreneurs, in order to establish new enterprises with a non-agricultural profile in the urban environment, thus contributing to the economic development and creation of new jobs in the West region. Thematic Objective 8 supports sustainable and quality employment — youth-employment initiatives, active labour-market policies, self-employment incentives, modernisation of public-employment services.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €3.0M toward a total project cost of €3.5M — a co-funding rate of 84%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
