The general objective of the project is to implement and develop common systems and standards for optimising the decision-making processes in the field of water and forests, to apply the evidence-based policy system in the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests for the systematisation and simplification of water legislation and to achieve simplified procedures for reducing administrative burden for the business environment in the forestry sector.

Co-funding: the EU contributes €1.8M toward a total project cost of €2.2M — a co-funding rate of 84%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.

Kohesio is the European Commission's open-data platform for projects co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus, the Cohesion Fund and the Just Transition Fund.
