Urban policy development as a tool for strengthening administrative capacity and strategic planning of urban areas in Romania
The objective of the project is to develop urban policy as a tool for strengthening the administrative capacity and strategic planning of cities in Romania in the sense of substantiating the normative, investment and financial framework and changing the mentality regarding the urban development process. Urban policy can also underpin the provisions of the next Regional Operational Programme and reshape national funding programmes aimed at the sustainable and inclusive development of urban areas.
About the Efficient public administration objective
Thematic Objective 11 supports more efficient public administration — capacity building of public bodies, anti-corruption measures, judicial-reform support, e-administration.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €3.4M toward a total project cost of €4.0M — a co-funding rate of 84%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
