The Land’s agri-food sector accounts for nearly EUR 3.2 billion annually and 5,500 jobs in agro-industries. By integrating agriculture and green chemistry, the department has nearly 10,000 jobs.The expected results for this project are:- Positioning the Department of Landes as a major player in the agri-agricultural sector within 10 years- Making innovative technologies available to Landese companies and Landais in key sectors and markets for the department and at national level.- Objective for the nursery, a maximum filling rate (95 %) could be reached in 3 years.
About the Competitiveness of SMEs objective
Thematic Objective 3 backs the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises through grants, financial instruments, business-development services and internationalisation support. SMEs account for the bulk of EU employment, so the objective acts as a regional jobs lever.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €2.2M toward a total project cost of €3.4M — a co-funding rate of 65%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
