Local companies that build devices to harness this natural resource are already creating jobs and exporting around the world. About the Research, technological development and innovation objective

Thematic Objective 1 of the 2014–2020 Cohesion period funds research, technological development and innovation. It supports R&D infrastructure, technology transfer, business-academia partnerships and pilot lines that close the gap between scientific discovery and market application across EU regions.

Co-funding: the EU contributes €4.2M toward a total project cost of €5.3M — a co-funding rate of 80%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
