Gender equality in the labour market with a focus on (non-)equal pay for women and men

The main objective of the project is to start the process of reducing the pay gap between women and men in the Czech Republic, linking the main actors to change the current unsatisfactory situation, raising awareness of the problem and its complexity, and designing and verifying innovative tools and approaches to solving the problem in practice. The overarching key activity of the project will be the creation of a strategic document at the government level so-called Action Plan to reduce the gap in pay gap between women and men in the Czech Republic.

About the Sustainable and quality employment objective

Thematic Objective 8 supports sustainable and quality employment — youth-employment initiatives, active labour-market policies, self-employment incentives, modernisation of public-employment services.

Co-funding: the EU contributes €2.9M toward a total project cost of €3.6M — a co-funding rate of 81%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
