Tourism education

The project presents a unique possibility of professional training of employees and employers, including self-employed persons operating in tourism through full-time and electronic teaching. Support for these entities will be aimed in particular at expanding, renewing and acquiring the necessary expertise and skills in the field of tourism and strengthening their position in the labour market. The project supports these entities exclusively in the regions of the Czech Republic, except the capital city of Prague.

About the Sustainable and quality employment objective

Thematic Objective 8 supports sustainable and quality employment — youth-employment initiatives, active labour-market policies, self-employment incentives, modernisation of public-employment services.

Co-funding: the EU contributes €3.0M toward a total project cost of €3.5M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.

Kohesio is the European Commission's open-data platform for projects co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus, the Cohesion Fund and the Just Transition Fund.
