Located in the Southern Region, off the Gulf of Fos and the western basins of the Grand Port Maritime of Marseille, the Provence Grand Large pilot park is composed of 3 floating wind turbines, 17 km off the Napoleon beach of the commune of Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône. Connected to the terrestrial network by a submarine cable and then to the Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône processing station, the park will have a production capacity equivalent to the domestic electricity consumption of 40000 inhabitants. About the Research, technological development and innovation objective

Thematic Objective 1 of the 2014–2020 Cohesion period funds research, technological development and innovation.
