The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted Martinique’s health vulnerability. Many isolated elderly people found themselves alone and without medical and health assistance. The need to increase accommodation for the elderly as well as the improvement of the hygiene conditions of existing places have the impact of the project to humanise the accommodation of the elderly at the Emma VENTURA Centre.
