Urbanity: Inequality, Adaptation and Public Space of Cities in a Historical Perspective
The aim of the interdisciplinary project URBANITA is to provide a comprehensive view of the development of predominantly Czech cities from the Middle Ages to the present. The project builds on long-term cooperation in the field of urban history of three institutions within the Centre for Urban Studies: ÚSD AV ČR, FLÚ AV ČR and UPOL. The project consists of 3 basic research projects: 1) Public space: place of creativity and conflict, 2) City as a space of inequality, 3) Threats and resilience of the city.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €4.0M toward a total project cost of €5.8M — a co-funding rate of 69%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
Kohesio is the European Commission's open-data platform for projects co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus, the Cohesion Fund and the Just Transition Fund.
