Moravia, km 230,728-231,934 - right bank PBPO and connection of left bank arm - stage IV.A

The project solves the flood protection of the city of Olomouc (city districts Nový Svět and Nemilany) with the help of natural flood protection measures. The chosen solution respects the boundary conditions of flood protection against the flow and does not negatively affect the lower section. The project maintains or strengthens the floodplain and, to this end, releases the floodplain from existing buildings. Thanks to the chosen solution, the morphological state of the Morava River and the biodiversity of the floodplain are improved.
