Mapping and monitoring of invasive species
The project Monitoring and Mapping of Invasive Species (InvazMap) is focused on nationwide mapping of the current occurrence of selected invasive alien species. Additional expert analyses will be carried out as part of the project. The need for monitoring of invasive species arises from the adopted strategic and conceptual documents in the field of nature protection (State Programme for Nature and Landscape Protection of the Czech Republic, Strategy for the Protection of Biodiversity of the Czech Republic), the obligation then from European and national legislation.
EU contribution: €10.9M from the Cohesion envelope.
Kohesio is the European Commission's open-data platform for projects co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus, the Cohesion Fund and the Just Transition Fund.
