Sustainable public transport 2016
The project is focused on modernisation and greening of the vehicle fleet of the Transport Company of Chomutova and Jirkova a.s. (DPCHJ) through the acquisition of new low-floor trolleybuses (15 pcs) and 2 CNG buses, which will replace in the same number of existing, unsatisfactory vehicles. Implementation should have an impact on improving the quality of the RU, increasing travel comfort, saving transport time and making public transport accessible to passengers with reduced mobility (increasing the number of low-floor vehicles).
Co-funding: the EU contributes €6.4M toward a total project cost of €7.5M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
