II/198 Modernisation of the road Bochov – Kozlov
The object of the project is to modernise road II/198 between the municipalities Bochov and Kozlov. The road is an important part of the road network of the Karlovy Vary Region, which converts traffic in the direction south-north and is an important link between roads I/6 Karlovy Vary – Prague and road I/20 Karlovy Vary – Plzeň from the municipality of Toužim. The Toužim – Bochov section also serves as a route for the closures of road I/20 in the section Toužim – Karlovy Vary. The route also serves for the transport of overcosts.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €5.6M toward a total project cost of €6.7M — a co-funding rate of 83%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
