Project POWERHOUSE - Heat and cold production plant for the Erasmus campus
The project consists of extending the existing heating and cooling networks on the Erasmus campus and centralising production in a building called ‘PowerHouse’, in particular with a view to facilitating the integration of renewable energies. Its ambition is to support the development of the campus while optimising its environmental performance and limiting operating costs. 1) Heat network It is planned to renovate and extend the existing heat network to almost all buildings on campus. Co-funding: the EU contributes €1.1M toward a total project cost of €14.5M — a co-funding rate of 7%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
