The R3Pack project provides for the construction of an ecosystem for demonstrating solutions for the design and recycling of non-household packaging. Concrete actions are: the development of infrastructure for design in Howest's Circular Solution Lab, the development of a pilot line around advanced washing processes for high-quality recycling at Ghent University, and the further development of the characterization and processing infrastructure for new product designs at Centexbel and Howest.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €646k toward a total project cost of €1.6M — a co-funding rate of 40%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
