Sustainability Antwerp New South
Replacing gas as a source for the high temperature heat network (>70°C) for existing buildings on the Nieuw-Zuid in Antwerp with renewable energy sources (riothermal energy (Aquafin) with water/water heat pump supplemented with air-water heat pumps).
Co-funding: the EU contributes €1.2M toward a total project cost of €15.0M — a co-funding rate of 8%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
