The agglomeration of Poitiers has chosen DALKIA to create and operate the new urban heat network on the western districts of the city of Poitiers with the installation of a boiler room powered 100% by renewable energies. (energy wood and miscanthus will come from local channels available within a 100km radius). This new network will span 12.7km and deliver 26 GWh of heat per year while avoiding 4,975 tonnes of CO2 per year.
