Migration and the climate crisis in Middle and Eastern North Africa
Recent studies suggest that climate variability and climate change significantly affect forced migration, within and across borders. A growing number of scientific reports are trying to link climate change to ongoing violent conflicts in many countries around the world, as well as to the migration crisis in Europe.
