The project aims to contribute to the development of research driven clusters in Europe with specific focus on convergence regions in central Europe. The objectives of the project are: a) Development of a methodology for establishment of research driven clusters in new member states in the Central European region and in other convergence regions; b) Dissemination of the developed methodology through out the European convergence regions and c) Establishment of a research driven cluster in Slovakia focused to specific sector. About Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013)
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) ran from 2007 to 2013 and was the EU's main research-funding instrument of that period. It mobilised roughly €50 billion across cooperation projects, ERC frontier grants, Marie Curie fellowships, capacity-building actions and Euratom research. FP7 closed to new calls in 2013 but its projects continued for years after under their original grant agreements.
EU contribution: €190k awarded to the consortium. The project runs over approximately 2 years from 2008-06-01 to 2010-05-31.
