PROCUST Promotion of Competence to Up-grade the RTD Potential in Science and Technology
Coordinator: INSTITUTULUI NATIONAL DE CERCETARE DEZVOLTARE PENTRU INGINERIE ELECTRICA ICPE-CA BUCURESTI (RO)
Research in the Scientific and Technological Development in Electrical Engineering is a strategically vital component of a competitive economy. Attaining expertise right across of this huge and multidisciplinary field, demands a high level of research potential. PROCUST`s aim is to provide an international independent expert evaluation of the existing research quality level and infrastructures of ICPE-CA, identifying the gaps and opportunities and to define an Action Plan to up-grade and reinforce its RTD potential. This project will be a complement of actions generated in FP6 SSA – INDUMAT a…
About Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013)
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) ran from 2007 to 2013 and was the EU's main research-funding instrument of that period. It mobilised roughly €50 billion across cooperation projects, ERC frontier grants, Marie Curie fellowships, capacity-building actions and Euratom research. FP7 closed to new calls in 2013 but its projects continued for years after under their original grant agreements.
EU contribution: €200k awarded to the consortium. The project runs over approximately 1 year from 2008-06-01 to 2009-05-31.
