The main objective of HPC-Europa2 is to continue the provision of a high quality service for transnational access to the advanced HPC systems available in Europe. This activity has been available on an ongoing basis as a highly-rated and trusted service for almost two decades. The HPC-Europa2 partnership includes as Transnational Access centres CINECA (Italy), BSC (Spain), EPCC (UK), HLRS (Germany), SARA (The Netherlands), CINES ( France) and CSC (Finland). About Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013)
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) ran from 2007 to 2013 and was the EU's main research-funding instrument of that period. It mobilised roughly €50 billion across cooperation projects, ERC frontier grants, Marie Curie fellowships, capacity-building actions and Euratom research. FP7 closed to new calls in 2013 but its projects continued for years after under their original grant agreements.
EU contribution: €9.5M awarded to the consortium. The project runs over approximately 4 years from 2009-01-01 to 2012-12-31.
