CURE Developing the Croatian Underwater Robotics Research Potential
Coordinator: SVEUCILISTE U ZAGREBU FAKULTET ELEKTROTEHNIKE I RACUNARSTVA (HR)
The project aims at reinforcing the Croatian S&T potential in underwater robotics (underwater systems & technologies) through a coherent set of measures. Measures are focused toward: supporting and mobilization of human and material resources; developing strategic partnerships with well known research centers in EU; dissemination of scientific information and research results; facilitating communication between UNIZG-FER Laboratory for underwater systems and technologies (LabUST), and research entities having similar scientific interests in EU and also other stakeholders in the region; improv…
About Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013)
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) ran from 2007 to 2013 and was the EU's main research-funding instrument of that period. It mobilised roughly €50 billion across cooperation projects, ERC frontier grants, Marie Curie fellowships, capacity-building actions and Euratom research. FP7 closed to new calls in 2013 but its projects continued for years after under their original grant agreements.
Co-funding: the European Union contributes €959k toward a total project budget of €1.1M — a funding rate of 89%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 3 years from 2009-04-01 to 2012-03-31.
