ASMOSEP Advances in Spectroscopic Monitoring of Styrene Emulsion Polymerization
Coordinator: KLAIPEDOS UNIVERSITETAS (LT)
This project proposes further advancement and development of the novel spectroscopic method i.e. of its current state of the art, created during Marie Curie ITN research project INTROSPECT. Although it promises a noticeable breakthrough in Process Analytical Technology (PAT) of monitoring concentrations in particulate/turbid media it is in an embryonic stage and its practical applicability is yet unanswered question. A number of applicability issues must be solved for its successful implementation in a particular industrial process. The focus of this project is the application of this method t…
About Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013)
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) ran from 2007 to 2013 and was the EU's main research-funding instrument of that period. It mobilised roughly €50 billion across cooperation projects, ERC frontier grants, Marie Curie fellowships, capacity-building actions and Euratom research. FP7 closed to new calls in 2013 but its projects continued for years after under their original grant agreements.
EU contribution: €30k awarded to the consortium. The project runs over approximately 2 years from 2009-04-01 to 2011-03-31.
