Project's general objective consists of developing and maintaining positive public relations among the research community and the wider population. Public perception of the researchers is the focal point of the event and it contributes towards its shaping in a positive way. The programme of activities will be varied and address to all age categories and groups of the population, regardless of their level of socio-economic background. Prior to the event itself, guided tours and promotional events will be held, while shows, exhibitions, hands on experiments, demonstrations and other activities …
About Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013)
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) ran from 2007 to 2013 and was the EU's main research-funding instrument of that period. It mobilised roughly €50 billion across cooperation projects, ERC frontier grants, Marie Curie fellowships, capacity-building actions and Euratom research. FP7 closed to new calls in 2013 but its projects continued for years after under their original grant agreements.
Co-funding: the European Union contributes €13k toward a total project budget of €17k — a funding rate of 78%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 0.6 years from 2009-06-01 to 2009-12-31.
