MONINTERFLUOPROT Monitoring of cell signaling pathways via interaction of fluorescently tagged proteins

Coordinator: UNIVERZITA PAVLA JOZEFA SAFARIKA V KOSICIACH (SK)

At present, fundamental questions in biomedical translational research require the use of non invasive nanometer resolution techniques that facilitate the study of cell structure and function in vivo. The proposed project is highly interdisciplinary: it encompasses advanced research techniques in biophysics, cell physiology, and molecular biology. The long term aim of the project is to establish a cutting-edge multidisciplinary program in biomedical and translational research at the Department of Biophysics at the P.J. Šafárik University in Košice, Slovakia. The foundation of this program is …

About Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013)

The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) ran from 2007 to 2013 and was the EU's main research-funding instrument of that period. It mobilised roughly €50 billion across cooperation projects, ERC frontier grants, Marie Curie fellowships, capacity-building actions and Euratom research. FP7 closed to new calls in 2013 but its projects continued for years after under their original grant agreements.

EU contribution: €75k awarded to the consortium. The project runs over approximately 3 years from 2010-06-01 to 2013-05-31.
