GRINCOH Growth-Innovation-Competitiveness: Fostering Cohesion in Central and Eastern Europe
Coordinator: UNIWERSYTET WARSZAWSKI (PL)
GRINCOH addresses two issues affecting Central and Eastern European economies: the disjuncture between fast productivity growth and poor performance in developing innovative capacities for longer-term sustainable growth; and the pronounced economic, social and environmental territorial disparities resulting from accelerated growth. About Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013)
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) ran from 2007 to 2013 and was the EU's main research-funding instrument of that period. It mobilised roughly €50 billion across cooperation projects, ERC frontier grants, Marie Curie fellowships, capacity-building actions and Euratom research. FP7 closed to new calls in 2013 but its projects continued for years after under their original grant agreements.
Co-funding: the European Union contributes €2.7M toward a total project budget of €3.5M — a funding rate of 78%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 3 years from 2012-03-01 to 2015-02-28.
