STARTGENSYS ADAPTATION KIT DESIGN & MANUFACTURING: APU DRIVING SYSTEM
Coordinator: INSTITUTUL NATIONAL DE CERCETARE-DEZVOLTARE TURBOMOTOARE - COMOTI (RO)
The aim of this project is to design, manufacture, commissioning and validate of one complete driving system for a ground test bench intended to be used for aircraft starters/generators testing. The proposed system is complete and include one DC motor (120 kW) with associated power electronics, Human Machine Interface, Control System, Supporting Frame, High-speed Couplings, High-speed Transmission, Cooling circuit, Complete measurement System and Associtaed Software. In order to achieve a unitary test bench with low maintenance costs, we will implement innovative solutions based on the latest…
About Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013)
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) ran from 2007 to 2013 and was the EU's main research-funding instrument of that period. It mobilised roughly €50 billion across cooperation projects, ERC frontier grants, Marie Curie fellowships, capacity-building actions and Euratom research. FP7 closed to new calls in 2013 but its projects continued for years after under their original grant agreements.
Co-funding: the European Union contributes €270k toward a total project budget of €403k — a funding rate of 67%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 3.1 years from 2012-05-01 to 2015-05-31.
