M-FUTURE2013 ManuFuture View on Horizon 2020

In order to increase the coordination efforts the MANUFUTURE2013 conference is proposed with a special focus on expressing the ETP MANUFUTURE community’s view on the Horizon 2020 – the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2014-2020). The event is planned for the second half of Lithuania’s Presidency of the Council of the EU (in autumn 2013) at the time when legislative acts on Horizon 2020 will have been adopted by the EU Parliament and Council already, thus the conference will serve as a forum of stakeholders to discuss the possibilities on how to better operationalize Horizon…

About Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013)

The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) ran from 2007 to 2013 and was the EU's main research-funding instrument of that period. It mobilised roughly €50 billion across cooperation projects, ERC frontier grants, Marie Curie fellowships, capacity-building actions and Euratom research. FP7 closed to new calls in 2013 but its projects continued for years after under their original grant agreements.

EU contribution: €445k awarded to the consortium. The project runs over approximately 1.4 years from 2012-09-01 to 2014-01-31.
