Coordinator: CENTRO DE INVESTIGACION Y DE ESTUDIOS AVANZADOS DEL INSTITUTO POLITECNICO NACIONAL (MX)

We submit to consideration of the 7th framing EU program, Marie Curie Incoming Fellowshipprogram, a research project in the field of computational material science to explore material thermal properties of homogeneous systems. We propose this project with the idea of setting up long term collaborations between the groups in Mexico and Germany. The proposed research program is aimed to understand, to develop and to characterize systems with novel properties originating from electronic correlations and in particular of systems where the electron-phonon coupling plays an important role in its th…

About Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013)

The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) ran from 2007 to 2013 and was the EU's main research-funding instrument of that period. It mobilised roughly €50 billion across cooperation projects, ERC frontier grants, Marie Curie fellowships, capacity-building actions and Euratom research. FP7 closed to new calls in 2013 but its projects continued for years after under their original grant agreements.

EU contribution: €15k awarded to the consortium. The project runs over approximately 1 year from 2013-06-01 to 2014-05-31.
