At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2022, Austria's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.7% compared to 2021, reaching 14.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.5%.

Austria ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.8% (from 14.4% in 2017).
