At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2015, Belgium's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.9% compared to 2014, reaching 15.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.8%.

Belgium ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.6% (from 15.2% in 2010).
