At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 14.0% compared to 2009, reaching 39.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.3%.

Cyprus ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 20.7% (from 50.3% in 2005).
