At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Finland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 17.2% compared to 2009, reaching 18.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.3%.

Finland ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.1% (from 18.7% in 2005).
