At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2024, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 15.6% compared to 2023, reaching 31.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.6%.

Cyprus ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 22.4% (from 25.4% in 2019).
