At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 3.4% compared to 2009, reaching 17.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.1%.

Cyprus ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.3% (from 17.6% in 2005).
