Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2020, Cyprus's main indicators increased by 23.4% compared to 2019, reaching 12.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 37.4%.

Cyprus ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 42.6% (from 8.4% in 2015).
