At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2024, Czechia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 12.1% compared to 2023, reaching 13.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.3%.

Czechia ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 24.1% (from 11.2% in 2019).
