In 2018, Denmark's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 1.1% compared to 2017, reaching 8.9%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.5%.
Denmark ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 11.9% (from 10.1% in 2013).
