Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2021, Denmark's main indicators increased by 12.0% compared to 2020, reaching 73.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 37.8%.

Denmark ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 36.2% (from 53.7% in 2016).
