At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2024, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 10.2% compared to 2023, reaching 20.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.2%.

Estonia ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.9% (from 21.7% in 2019).
