At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2023, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.3% compared to 2022, reaching 22.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.2%.

Estonia ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.7% (from 21.9% in 2018).
