At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2016, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 7.0% compared to 2015, reaching 18.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.4%.

Estonia ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.6% (from 19.5% in 2011).
