In 2018, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 7.9% compared to 2017, reaching 15.2%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.6%.
Estonia ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 16.0% (from 18.1% in 2013).
